Ingrid Chase has been making pottery since 2015.

When my son was almost two, I rediscovered clay after signing up for a wheel-throwing course. My goal was to dust off my throwing skills, earn teaching recertification points, and get some much-needed me-time. I immediately fell in love and haven’t stopped potting since! In 2018, I began to sell work to help fund this habit. In 2021, I made the leap to set up a full studio in my home.

I approach each of my fully unique pieces in an unplanned, intuitive manner. I do have a few similar styles, but I like the challenge and freedom of making something new with each object. I am inspired by textures, patterns, and natural color palettes. I enjoy making sculptural and functional objects that are both visually appealing and tactile in nature. Well-made, thoughtful objects add beauty and joy to your home. I’m truly honored and humbled that you are interested in my work and may even choose to adopt one of my creations!
